Self-releasing Fluke Type Design, Penetrating, Steel, Easy Retrieval Recommended in most conditions and for light weight/medium duty
The Slip-Ring Anchor is a traditional fluke anchor design, with the addition of a sliding ring for easy retrieval. Anchor Chain should always be used with steel fluke anchors, to provide wieght necessary to maintain the proper approach angle for setting. Fluke anchors require a scope of at least 5:1 (rope length to water depth) in order to set properly. 7:1 scope is recommended.
Anchor is retrieved by backing boat directly over anchor, which allows the ring to slide to crown and release anchor from opposite direction
Recommended Chain (Optinal) : Item #2115 - 1/4" x 4" Anchor Lead Chain
